You can't win. No, seriously. You =can't=

Human tain of thought is getting to be seriously idiotic. People are so obsessed with themselves that you can hardly even talk about your own accomplishments without them jumping down your gullet.

There is something to be said for being over watchful of yourself. People live with themselves thier entire lives (well, at least I hope they do) and because of that they will know things that no other person will know. They will think things that no other person will ever hear. This is the way life is, and it is and always has been a sadistic little form of personal torture.

It gets so hardcore in some people that they cannot stand to see someone else who is decently happy with the acomplishments of thier life. Case in point :

Vincent : I wear my faults out in the open, and I never try to deny the fact that I'm not the greatest thing on earth.
Vincent : I just would like some respect for the things that I have overcome and earned

Now, can anyone tell me why this man responded in this way? Neither can I, but I can assume things. Hopefully I'm not wrong in judging the fact that this man was blinded by his own faults, and was possibly jealous in the fact that I could admit I wasn't perfect and still have the confidence to be able to stand up.

I'm sick and tired of people hating me just because they think I'm something better. I will not be the first to admit that I do have a good head on my shoulders, and a good take in life. I will also not be the first to admit that there are a million and one people better than me, and that I am -=OK=- with that. I know I will never measure up, and for some reason this bugs the living hell out of some people.

Is it that hard to admit that you aren't number one in everything? Does it really burn you that bad to see that someone is ahead of you in the human race? What is it that causes someone to think just because I use a word in my vocabulary that I'm specifically trying to point out that they don't know what it is?

Wake up people. You don't matter. Neither do I. We are people, not Gods. There are over a billion of us. People do not say things purposely to remind you of how much you suck. Only, and I stress that word, you know how much you suck. Only you know all your flaws. We cannot possibly flaunt them, taunt them, or destroy you with them unless you show us what they are. There is nobody sent to specifically out to get you (Unless you keep being a prick. That's what Hitmen are for.)
