I have found my favorite word, and it is Brillant.
I remember about 2 years ago, me and my brother were watching a dart contest on ESPN based out of England. The word Brillant was said so many times there that day then can be counted, to nearly everything that was done. Thusly me and my bro began mocking them, as is usually done with our household, out of humor.
"David! You opened that jar of jam! BRILLANT!!"
You can see how this can get a little out of hand.
I've been doing a little thinking lately, and the main topic has been relationships. I'm in a relationship right now going on a little over a year. The girl I'm with has a severe case of depression so it's a little difficult to deal with, but I continue on because of how I care about her. Thusly my thoughts span from this and previous relationships.
Why is it men can always get in trouble for everything? I could be sitting and watching TV, or playing on my Playstation2, and get in trouble. It's like I'm a pro at it! I don't even have to put out effort! Alot of men seem to have this problem that I speak of, and it's been making me very curious... thusly I've been noticing strange things.
Something that a woman says, which could mean no signifigant thing to her but purturbs the man, if recognized and stated upon ... will cause the man to get in trouble. How? This simple process.
1) Woman says rude thing
2) Man speaks up
3) Woman says "Oh, so now I'm rude?!"
4) Man is in trouble for calling woman rude.
Now, if a man were to do this... it would be impossible.
This simple formula, of what I'd like to call : T+(MW)=WC (Or the Woman Control Theory) can apply to many situations.
For example : Woman asks man what he's thinking, man believes that if he spoke honestly (I mean FULLY honestly) in an early relationship where there are still peeves and troubles that he would get in trouble, thusly he says things that aren't completely true.
This causes one of four (or more)situtations.
1) Woman goes on happily, only to find out later he lied. Man in trouble.
2) Woman sees through Man, Man in trouble.
3) Man cannot come up with anything, stalls : Woman sees through, Man in trouble because she believes Man is upset. (More on this later)
4) Man is HONEST : Man in trouble.
Now, if you have a good woman, then you don't have this situation arise, but for the most of us ... You know what I mean.
As for #3 in this situation : Why would the woman get mad at the man for being upset? She would believe that she is somehow inadaquate, and since the man didn't respond... he was the one who made her feel this way. There could be honest problems, but the man would still be in trouble for the fact that she is making him uncomfortable... make sense? Of course not.
What is the deal? Women have complete control over men if they wish to, they put us through some misery and we can't do anything to compete.
You know what I say?
BRILLANT!
hehe, yeah. My mom and I always laugh when we're watching British movies or shows. They say brilliant so much! The Harry Potter movies are a good example (but they don't say it NEARLY as much as they do IRL). But that's one of the reasons why I love the Guinness commercials. Guinness draught in a bottle?... BRILLIANT!
Oh drew not all woman are like that. yes i have depression ( blushes ) yes I had problems. But cmon did I honestly do all that .. * feels a little bad now *
